FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

The weight loss program involves consulting with a nurse practitioner (NP) who will carefully examine and guide you to ensure you receive the ideal dosage. This comprehensive consultation also includes lab tests and personalized dietary guidance.
Semaglutide, also known as Ozempic, and tirzepatide, also known as Mounjaro. Both drugs are FDA-approved.
Medication is not included in the consultation fee. Patients are required to pay the pharmacy directly.
Both Semaglutide and Tirzepatide belong to a class of drugs called incretin mimetics. They work in similar ways but have some differences in mechanism and dosage. These medications stimulate the release of insulin by the pancreas when needed to lower blood sugar levels, reduce the production of sugar by the liver, suppress the secretion of glucagon, and slow down the movement of food through the stomach (gastric emptying). As a result, they can help you feel fuller for longer, decrease your appetite, and contribute to weight loss.
Semaglutide or Tizerpatide will be prescribed as a weekly subcutaneous injection. The injections should be administered every seven days in the abdomen at alternating sites. Semaglutide and Tizerpatide should be started at a low dose and gradually increased, so it’s essential to use the medication exactly as directed. One injection should be administered on the same day each week.
Symptoms may include low blood sugar, stomach pain, heartburn, gas, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation.
